| About the Direct Payment Holder | A bright and engaging young man with Cerebral Palsy and Autism is seeking a PA to help him access the community and enjoy activities such as shopping, going to the gym, swimming and bowling.
The young man’s interests include watching the news, Coronation Street and attending his local church. |
| Hours and rate of pay | 10 hours per week |
| Location | St Albans (AL4) |
| DBS/Checks | Confirmation of DBS check
Right to Work and references will be needed. |
| Training | Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Safeguarding Adults • Introduction to first aid • Health and Safety

| What you would be doing… | You will be supporting with accessing the community to take part in social activities as well as going swimming, bowling, shopping etc.
Support with stabilising when walking and help with getting changed when going swimming. |
| Required skills and experience | Seeking a PA who is confident and out-going.
Someone who is able to connect and motivate the young man to step outside of his comfort zone and reach his full potential.
You will need to be a car owner/driver with enough boot space for a lightweight scooter |
