| About the Direct Payment Holder | We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant to provide support to a 13-year-old boy with special needs. |
| Hours and rate of pay | 3 hours every Saturday (12-3 pm)

Right to Work and references will be needed. |
| Training | Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Safeguarding Children • Introduction to Paediatric first aid • Health and Safety / Moving and handling

| What you would be doing… |
Provide personal care, including bathing and feeding. Ensure the safety and well-being of the child, particularly during seizures. Play with the child using musical toys. Take the child for wheelchair walks. Assist with manual handling using a hoist. Use epilepsy training knowledge to respond appropriately during seizures.

| Required skills and experience |
Willingness to provide personal care.
Valid driving licence (own vehicle not required)
Non-smoker
Trained in manual handling, including the use of a hoist.
Epilepsy training
Experience collaborating with individuals with learning disabilities, physical, and neurological conditions Caring nature Bubbly personality Interest or proficiency in music, including playing an instrument. Honest and dependable
