Personal Assistant (PA)/Support Worker

About the Direct Payment Holder	Personal Assistant required for a Lively and Sociable 34-year-old male, who is a full time wheelchair user
Hours and rate of pay	9.5 hours every Thursday (8 am to 5.30 pm)
Location	St Albans (AL1)
DBS/Checks	Confirmation of DBS check Right to Work and references will be needed.
Training	Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required: • Safeguarding Adults • Introduction to first aid • Health and Safety
What you would be doing…	Personal care and hoisting Administration of medication Money management Washing and Dressing Breakfast and assistance with eating Taking out to clubs and activities Changing and freshening up later in the day Evening carer handover at 5.30 pm Role specific training provided. Ability to manage challenging behaviours.
Required skills and experience	Willingness to provide personal care. Driving license (wheelchair accessible vehicle provided) Ability to prepare food. Non-smoker Training and ability to use additional equipment (training provided)
