| About the Direct Payment Holder | A young, happy, fun, sociable boy with Rett Syndrome is in need of a PA to support him with his daily needs and engage him in activities.
He is PEG tube fed and uses specialist seating and a wheelchair, and he is non-verbal, but understands and loves communication with others with the right support.

| Hours and rate of pay | Up to 18 hours per week – days and times flexible |

| DBS/Checks | Confirmation of DBS check
Right to Work and references will be needed. |
| Training | Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Safeguarding Children • Paediatric first aid • Moving and handling

| What you would be doing… | You will play and care for the young boy at home and in the community. This may include walks in his wheelchair, playing or reading stories. |
| Required skills and experience | Seeking a PA who is caring, warm, confident, sensible and aware of when to ask for help and support.
Experience/training in suction and feed pump would be ideal, however, training by community nurses available. |
