About the Direct Payment Holder | Seeking a compassionate and patient Personal Assistant (PA) to support a young mother of two little girls. The client faces mobility challenges, severe mental health issues, trauma, and cognitive impairment. |
Hours and rate of pay | Initially 9 hours per week, with potential for increased hours.
· Days: Spread over 2 or 3 days a week.

What you would be doing… |
Help with organising and attending appointments. Assistance with laundry, folding, and putting away clothes. Support with meal preparation and budgeting. Guidance on food shopping and transportation to/from shops. Medication reminders and ordering. Accompanying to health and medical appointments. Assistance with daily routines, including preparing clothes and meals for the next day. Potential help with children, including school runs and care during times of severe pain. |
Required skills and experience |
PA who is patient, caring, and experienced in working with individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges.
The ideal candidate should be understanding, non-judgmental, and capable of managing both adult and child care responsibilities.
The client prefers a female PA with experience in mental health, trauma, chronic pain, and cognitive impairment.
