| About the Direct Payment Holder | Seeking a compassionate and attentive Personal Assistant (PA) for a 37-year-old woman who is bedridden and occasionally uses a wheelchair due to ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis), POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), and autonomic dysfunction. |

12 hours per week, schedule to be discussed |

| Training | Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Safeguarding Adults • Introduction to first aid • Health and Safety

| What you would be doing… | The client requires assistance with daily activities as she is mostly confined to her home.
The client requires comprehensive support with everyday tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
Accompaniment to medical appointments may also be necessary. Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and providing companionship. |
| Required skills and experience |
Experience or knowledge in caring for bed-bound individuals, including bed baths.
Ideally, familiarity with ME or similar conditions.
Willingness to adapt and undergo training specific to the client’s needs.
Female PA preferred.
PA with a calm demeanour and a friendly yet subdued approach.
The client is highly sensitive to sensory stimuli and requires a peaceful and understanding environment.
Respect for the client’s wishes and needs is paramount, willing to provide training to the right candidate.
