Rate of Pay: £16 per hour/ £100 per night
Hours: 35 – 40 hours per week
Pattern of Work: [08.00am – 14.00pm / 12noon – 23.00pm / 23.00pm – 08.00am]
Job Description:
A friendly and trustworthy Personal Assistant needed to join a team of PAs to support a 57-year-old man living with his wife and family. The client has C5/C6 spinal injury/ tetraplegic disabilities and needs assistance to live independently. Type of duties involved would vary from personal care, administering medications, gardening, assisting with technology devices such as a phone, domestic duties as and when required along with accompanying the client at medical appointments and family or social events. These at times could include weekends away and holidays.
Essential Requirements:
- Needs to be a driver preferably with a clean full driver’s licence and confident with driving a large transit style van.
- To remain calm in stressful situations.
- Must be confident in a dog friendly house.
- Must have a good sense of humour.
- Needs to be reasonably flexible.
Experience or qualifications
Any previous experience within the care sector would be beneficial however full training would be provided.
Breaks / food / to be discussed, if invited to interview.
Additional hours are often available, so I am/we are looking for someone who is flexible.
