Part Time Personal Assistant (PA)/Support Worker

About me
I am a young boy, I have Autism and moderate Learning Difficulties. I live with my
family but need a Personal Assistant to assist me in all areas of my social life both
at home and in the community
You will need to be aware that I can wander off and touch things and I am
unaware of any dangers. I enjoy playing games on my phone or console, I would
like someone who I can play with either at home or an arcade. I am verbal so I
would make you aware of my likes and dislikes but can be emotional if I am not
listened to.
Rate and Hours
£14.50 per hour
Weekends and school holidays only – 4 hours per week

DBS/Checks
Confirmation of DBS check
Right to Work and references will be needed.
Training
Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Safeguarding Children
• Introduction to first aid
• Health and Safety
What you would be
doing…

No personal care, cooking, laundry but should tidy up after an activity
Someone to take part in playing video games
Support with taking me out into the community, for activities, socialising etc…

A car driver would be an advantage but not essential
You must be reliable and able to work flexible hours
You will work under my parent’s direction
