| About the service user | I am a clever, emotionally intelligent 12 year old girl who has a rare form of muscular dystrophy that affects my mobility, swallow, and use of speech muscles (due to weakness). I use a power chair to get around. I go to mainstream school and don’t have any learning difficulties. I’m looking more for a female friend who can spend time playing with me or just talking to me at home.

2-3 hours per week during term time, more hours available during school holidays. £12.50 per hour
Enhanced DBS clearance is required

| What you would be doing… |
Supporting me with activities in the home, playing, reading, walking with a view to accessing some community activities together.

| The person I would like… |
You don’t need any specialist training, just fun to be around, have good conversational skills and loads of empathy. You should be able to do basic maths & perhaps help with homework at times.
