About me | Direct Payment (DP) Holder is in her early 30s and has learning difficulties. She loves all animals, especially horses and enjoys country walks. Personal assistant needed to assist and support client in all areas of her social life, both at home and in the community. Your role is to enable her to lead an individual and independent life while out and about. |
Hours and rate of pay | Thursday 7.00 – 9.00pm
Friday 2.00 – 5.00pm Sat and Sun 2-4 pm
Additional hours are available to work bank holidays. £13.45 gross per hour.

Training | Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Safeguarding Adults • Introduction to first aid • Health and Safety |
What you would be doing… | The work involves some or all of the following tasks. Some tasks will be daily, others weekly. As the DP holders’ needs vary, it is important that you are flexible about the work and agree to undertake any other reasonable tasks.
General Assistance ·Assistance with getting to and taking part in social activities e.g., visiting churches and museums. ·Assistance to attend her voluntary job at the library on Tuesday afternoons. · Assistance to go on country walks. ·To enable DP holder to undertake any chosen activity, inside or outside our home, by carrying out any other requests which may reasonably be asked to make.
