About me I am a 70-year-old lady with chronic health, balance and mobility issues. I generally have a positive outlook and am friendly and sociable. I need support to help me live well and maintain a better quality of life.

 
Hours and rate of pay Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour, paid through Purple Direct Payments Support Service.

Hours Flexible (As and when needed to cover planned holidays and

unexpected sickness)

This role is for bank/relief cover. You will be called upon to step in

and help with day-to-day living.Assistants will also be required to provide cover for existing PAs during sickness and holidays.
Location Hill Top, West Bromwich

 
DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check

Right to Work and references will be needed.
What you would be doing… I need support with tasks that I would usually manage myself if I were able to do so. This may include cleaning, cooking, laundry, personal care, turning the mattress, and acting as a chaperone when required.

 

I use a wheelchair when outdoors, so depending on my health, support to access the community may also be required.

 
The person I would like…
This position would ideally suit a driver or someone living close to Hill Top, West Bromwich. I would really like someone who is honest, reliable, cheerful and respectful, with practical skills and the flexibility to respond to my changing needs. Applicants must also have a good level of English proficiency to ensure safe and effective communication.

I need a reliable, proactive person to step in and provide support when

my main PAs are off sick or taking annual leave.
