Originally from Cyprus, she has lived in the UK for over 60 years and enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle. Since losing her husband of 60 years, she has continued to live independently with the regular support of her son and daughter, who both live nearby. She enjoys getting out and about, visiting local cafés, attending church, and spending time in the community.

Prior to a knee operation last year, she was a regular gym-goer and remains committed to staying active. She enjoys walking to the local village using her walking trolley and values companionship and social interaction as part of her daily routine.

Weekend availability would be beneficial.

  One Personal Assistant is preferred.

  No hoist use is required.

The successful candidate will provide practical support, companionship, and reassurance, helping her to maintain her independence and quality of life.

Duties will include:

• Providing personal care support and supervision when required
• Assisting with showering and bathing reassurance
• Making the bed and helping with laundry
• Light household cleaning and tidying
• Shopping and running local errands
• Accompanying her on outings to cafés, local shops, and community activities
• Transporting and accompanying her to church, particularly on Sundays
• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Be a caring, patient, and cheerful individual
• Have previous care experience and relevant care training
• Be reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own insured vehicle
• Enjoy supporting older people to remain active and independent
• Be comfortable working independently in a family home environment

The ability to speak Greek would be an advantage but is not essential.
