The goal is to help him increase his independence and confidence as part of his transition from family care to 24/7 professional support in his own home. The individual requires 2:1 support at all times to ensure the safety of himself, his staff, and the wider community. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting adults with complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives.  
Hours and rate of pay £14.00 - £17.33 per hour, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 7am – 5pm (20 hours per week)

What you would be doing…   Support daily routines and personal care (such as bathing and toileting, once trust has been established) Assist with meal preparation and food support Accompany and encourage participation in community activities and day centres Build a trusting, positive relationship through patience, consistency, and understanding Promote independence, communication, and engagement in enjoyable and meaningful activities Morning support and preparation for the day Attending activities such as day centres, swimming, the gym, or walks Preparing and serving meals Supporting with leisure activities such as football, live music, pantomimes, and outdoor events

Hours and rate of pay Rate of Pay: Meets NMW Hours:  16 hours per week- Each PA to work 8 hours each Working pattern: 5–6 days per week, primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend support as required. What you would be doing… Key responsibilities will include:

The person I would like… We are seeking a Pakistani female support worker who has a strong understanding of Pakistani culture and is able to communicate effectively in Urdu or Mirpuri/Pahari, as the client does not speak English.   The ideal candidate will have experience working within the care sector, particularly supporting individuals experiencing low mood, depression, or a lack of motivation. A compassionate and patient approach is essential.   Applicants should preferably hold a valid DBS check, a full driving licence, and have access to a vehicle, as the role involves accompanying the client on outings to help improve mood and engagement.   The role also includes supporting the client with culturally appropriate meal preparation, such as cooking curries and chapattis, to meet their dietary needs. I may also need help with forms, appointments being made, or cancelling for me. I am looking for a PA to also drive me to medical appointments, allowing for my mobility scooter to be put in the car (it does come apart in three pieces).  When my fatigue allows, I would like to attend socialising groups, go out for lunch or have a hot chocolate.   I love chatting, being outside in the fresh air, doing puzzles, painting stones and writing in my journal.  I also like my garden kept tidy.  I am also looking for a PA to keep me company, maybe watching a movie or chatting. About the Direct Payment Holder K is a 13 year old boy who has a diagnosis of Autism, combined ADHD & Sensory Processing Disorder, he has anxiety and can experience low mood. K is passionate about the universe, astronomy & science he has excellent knowledge in all areas.  He also enjoys gaming and likes being outside going for walks. K is not keen on busy environments or large crowds.  
Hours and rate of pay  hours Flexible hours to be used in school holidays/weekends 39.5 hours available at £12.50 per hour.  
Location West Wratting, Cambridgeshire – CB21
DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check Right to Work and references will be needed.
What you would be doing… Support sessions will be a mix of at home and supporting K to access the community to develop his independence and safety skills when in the community. Exploring opportunities to socialise with other young people and develop his social and communication skills.  
Required skills and experience If you have an interest/knowledge of astronomy & the universe that would be great as you will have an instant connection with K. It is essential that you have an awareness of Autism and the challenges this brings. Someone who is friendly and willing to be interactive in order to improve and develop skills. Someone who is honest & trustworthy with good time keeping skills as K responds well to routine. A good understanding of English is important as K has a vast vocabulary.
