| About me | I am a 70-year-old lady with chronic health, balance and mobility issues. I generally have a positive outlook and am friendly and sociable. I need support to help me live well and maintain a better quality of life.

| Hours and rate of pay | Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour, paid through Purple Direct Payments Support Service.
Each assistant will be required to work 2 days per week, totalling 5 hours. P.A. 1: Wednesday, 9.30am–12.00pm, and Thursday, 9.30am–12.00pm. P.A. 2: Friday, 9.30am–12.00pm, and Saturday, 8.00am–10.30am. Assistants will also be required to provide cover for existing PAs during sickness and holidays (6 hours).

| What you would be doing… | I need support with tasks that I would usually manage myself if I were able to do so. This may include cleaning, cooking, laundry, personal care, turning the mattress, and acting as a chaperone when required.
I use a wheelchair when outdoors, so depending on my health, support to access the community may also be required.

| The person I would like… | This position would ideally suit a driver or someone living close to Hill Top, West Bromwich. I would really like someone who is honest, reliable, cheerful and respectful, with practical skills and the flexibility to respond to my changing needs. Applicants must also have a good level of English proficiency to ensure safe and effective communication.
Assistants should also be willing to provide cover during sickness and holidays. Would need to provide cover for existing P.A ‘s during holidays(6 hrs per week) and sickness.
