| About the Direct Payment Holder | A friendly lady in her early 60s, who has been living with Multiple Sclerosis for over 30 years, is seeking a dedicated and reliable female Personal Assistant to join her support team. |
| Hours and rate of pay | £16.80 per hour, 35 hours per week
Monday to Friday 09:00 – 16:00 (7 hours per day) |

Right to Work and references will be needed. |
| Training | Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Safeguarding Adults • Introduction to first aid • Health and Safety / Moving and handling

| What you would be doing… | Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
Assistance with eating and drinking Use of a hoist for transfers Light household duties (laundry, ironing, hoovering, dusting, dishwasher tasks) Supporting outings such as shopping, visits to garden centres, and occasional cinema or theatre trips

| Required skills and experience | Must be able to travel to the home independently
Will be required to drive a wheelchair-accessible Motability vehicle Experience driving an automatic vehicle is preferred (informal training can be provided)
Ideally some experience supporting individuals with Multiple Sclerosis or similar conditions Understanding of fatigue, muscle spasms, and communication challenges Patient, attentive, and a good listener
A female PA is required due to personal care needs. Ideally middle-aged, with shared interests and a compatible personality.
