About the Direct Payment Holder | A sociable and upbeat 25-year-old male with a physical disability and mild learning difficulties is looking for a reliable and friendly Personal Assistant (PA) to support him in day-to-day life.
He experienced a severe traumatic brain injury and stroke in 2015 and now has left-side weakness, limited use of his left arm, and is blind in his left eye. He uses FES for foot drop and communicates clearly, with a slight slur. |

Training | Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Safeguarding Adults • Introduction to first aid • Health and Safety / Moving and handling

What you would be doing | This is a varied and rewarding position ideal for someone around the same age who enjoys building genuine connections and having a laugh.
Your role will include: Providing personal care support Acting as a buddy and companion Going on outings, day trips, and helping with social activities Supporting life skills development Offering consistent help with daily routines

Required skills and experience |
Driving licence essential – you’ll need to assist with getting out and about Willingness to undergo or have training in Epilepsy management, including administering Buccal Midazolam A good sense of humour, positive energy, and patience
Working Pattern: Flexible hours and days – to be discussed and agreed One-to-one support (no double-up care required)
