| About the Direct Payment Holder | A teenage boy with Learning Difficulties is seeking a PA to support him to build his confidence with trips out and about, using public transport and making purchases for himself. |
| Hours and rate of pay hours | £11.44 per hour
6 hours per week – Days and times to be agreed |
| Location | Doncaster (DN6) |
| DBS/Checks | Confirmation of DBS check
Right to Work and references will be needed. |
| What you would be doing… | You will be supporting with taking part in age appropriate activities such as, trips to the cinema, days out exploring or going to McDonalds for a meal. |
| Required skills and experience | Seeking a kind outgoing person that will be able to encourage and bring the best out in the teenage boy. Looking for a companion rather than a carer, someone who is engaging and happy to ask questions and hold conversations.
Previous work or lived experience of supporting SEN people an advantage.
Car owner/driver preferred, although not essential as long as comfortable and happy to travel by train or bus on days out. |
